Pres. Lungu Stops Gracing Traditional Ceremonies

President Edgar Lungu has disclosed that he has stopped gracing traditional ceremonies.

He says his decision follows complaints by some chiefs whose ceremonies he has been unable to attend due to various reasons.

President Lungu said this when Senior Chieftaincy Nkhomesha Mukamambo the Second extend an invitation to him to attend the soli traditional ceremony.

He also met Chiefs Chipepo, Chiyawa, Mwenda and Chief Nalwama in Chikankanta district today.

He said it is sad that traditional ceremonies are becoming a source of division and not unity.
