Search for Kabwe Illegal Miner’s Body Enters Day Seven

Efforts to retrieve the body an illegal miner who died in a water filled crater at the disused Kabwe mine, has entered day seven.
Godfrey Mwansa, aged 27 of Kabwe plunged into a 500 meter crater after picking up a quarrel with his friends who have since been arrested.
Those arrested include Patrick Phiri aged 49, a business man from Kitwe’s Ganatone area and Panji Tembo aged 30 of Chowa stage four in Kabwe.
The duo has since been detained at Kasanda police station to assist the police with investigations.
