Numba Optimistic Despite Shaky Start

Zambia Under-20 National Soccer Team Coach Numba Mumamba says he does not regret fielding U-17 players in the Cosafa U-20 championship that saw his side fall 2-0 to Uganda in their first match at Arthur Davies Stadium.
And Uganda coach Mathias Lule says his side had come to Zambia with clear intentions of competing in the Cosafa where they are the guest team.
A brace from Uganda captain Muhammad Shaban handed the Zambia a shaky start before a packed Arthur Davies Stadium in a 17:30 kickoff.
Numba says the team that was fielded was being prepared for Africa Cup qualifiers for the 2019 U-20 championship with Zambia gunning to defend the crown they won on home soil.
Numba says the team still hand chances of qualifying to the semifinals by winning the final two matches.
Numba says with the experience the team was garnering it would be ready for the Africa Cup qualifiers.
His Uganda counterpart said he was now focused on the next assignment against Swaziland on Friday.
Zambia faces Malawi on Friday at Arthur Davies Stadium in another 17:30 kickoff.
