Public and Private Drivers Association Admits Failure to Pay Govt Loan

Public And Private Drivers Association has admitted breaching the terms and conditions of the Higer Bus Youth Empowerment Loan Project.
Just as reported in the Auditor General’s Report, the association has not been promptly paying back the loan to government.
Association President Josiah Majuru says the failure is due to inadequate income and lack of prudent management of funds.
Mr. Majuru says the association has to split generated funds to government, suppliers of the buses and paying support staff.
He however says measures have been put in place to correct the situation.
