Stray Lion Shot Dead In Siavonga

Wildlife officers in Siavonga District have killed a stray lion that has been terrorizing residents.
The lion was killed in Hanuka village where it killed a cow on Tuesday.
The lion has killed a total of 18 cows in the last 5 months in the District.
Siavonga District commissioner Lovemore Kanyama has assured the residents that the wildlife department is fully equipped to handle wild animals attacking people and killing livestock.
