The Chess Federation of Zambia says there is need to roll down the sport to schools in the country.
Federation president DR. Chitalu Chilufya says the sport can also create wealth by exposing participating youths to international tournaments.
Dr. Chilufya said this during the closure of the three days Henry Courtyard Open Chess tournament in Mansa.
Dr. CHILUFYA has also called upon the co-operate world to support the spot so that young players are exposed.
The tournament attracted participation from all ten provinces in the country.
