Defiant UPND Youths Match Through Kabwe CBD

Armed police officers in Kabwe attempted to block the UPND youths to match through the central business district in commemorating youth day celebration.
Over 20 police officers surrounded the UPND youths who had assembled before their match past.
However, UPND Kabwe district youth chairperson, Amed Lubinga defied the police orders and proceeded with the procession.

UPND youths in Kabwe have called for a regime change, accusing the PF led government of failing to meet the aspirations of the youth.
Most of the jobless youths have charged that Edgar Lungu should step aside to allow someone with a fresh mind to stir the country’s economy to greater heights.
They say the republican president has failed to meet his campaign promise that the defunct Mulungushi Textiles will remain viable after it was reopened during campaigns on 1 August 2016.
