Police Warns Illegal Land Dealers

Police have warned of stain action against individuals involved in illegal sale of land in Chieftainess Mungule’s chiefdom.
Addressing villagers at the Chieftainess’ palace, Deputy Inspector General of Police for operations, Malcolm Mulenga says people involved in illegal sale of land risk being arrested.
This was during a meeting called to resolve the ongoing wrangles in which its alleged Chieftness Mungule has rejected to surrender the emblem of authority to Boyd Mbasela as the legitimate headman following the demise of his predecessor Joshua Iron Muyembe.
And speaking in an interview Chibombo District commissioner, Banabas Musopelo revealed that some named individuals are involved in the illegality in which huge chunks of land have been sold.
