NAREP Cites Swaziland Gift Illegal

Meanwhile the National Restoration Party-NAREP-has questioned President, Edgar Lungu over the land given to him in Swaziland.
NAREP President Elias Chipimo has charged that the issue is a crime as it is abuse of authority.
He has cited section 21 of the Anti-Corruption act which forbid people holding government offices from receiving gifts.
Mr Chipimo was speaking at a media briefing in Lusaka.
On Monday Chief Government Spokesperson, Dora Siliya informed the country that President Edgar Lungu has been given land in Swaziland.
It is believed the President intends to build a mansion on the said piece of land.
