<p>The three hour discussion  held under closed doors in a local court building at Chitimukulu in Mungwi were attended by several Bemba traditionalists including chiefs chikwanda, luchembe and nkula of mpika and Chinsali in Muchinga province and munkonge of Kasama in northern province.</p>
<p>Briefing the press later, Mr. Mwamba described the meeting as  successful  but could not give further details on the outcome of the discussions.</p>

<p>This is because defence lawyers have raised an application to determine the constitutionality of section 178 of the penal code under which Kansokomona has been arrested, charged and prosecuted.</p>
<p>Early last month Kasonkomoma was arrested minutes after appearing on a live MUVI television programme on which he demanded for the recognition of gay rights.</p>

<p>Sarah Banda of Lusaka’s Bauleni Compound appeared before Lusaka principle resident magistrate AlaidahChulu facing a charge of concealing the birth of a child.</p>
<p>Ms. Banda on 21 April 2013 gave birth to a baby boy and attempted to conceal the birth when she dumped it in a pit latrine and begun pouring gravel in the latrine.</p>
