Kanyama Businessman “Kills” Daughter, “Bolts”

A man believed to be of Congolese origin over the weekend allegedly killed his own daughter over the sum of 8.5 Million Kwacha that he asked her to keep in Lusaka’s Kanyama compound.

Brother of the deceased only identified as John explained that her sister was allegedly detained in her house before being subjected to electric torture by the father for three days.

Police Spokesperson Elizabeth Kanjela has confirmed that the suspect and his two sons who were involved in the matter are all on the run.

Ms Kanjela says when police went to the house, everyone had fled and no one was willing to give information.
