2012 Africa Cup of Nations Chipolopolo squad winning member Hichani Himoonde has asked for patience from soccer fans regarding the goal drought of the national team is experiencing.
Himoonde, a kingpin in the heart of defence that saw the Chipolopolo Boys win the AFCON for the first time, feels the striking force needs time and more games in order to score the much needed goals.
He says winning the second 2014 World Cup qualifier game against the Black Stars of Ghana is proof enough that the African Champions are World Cup Material.
The former ZESCO United player reminded the fans that it is not easy being AFCON champions, but promised that the team will work hard in order to win more games in Group D, which comprises Sudan, Lesotho and Ghana.
