Seychelles founding president and winner of the 2011 International Gusi Peace for statesmanship, Sir James Mancham, has advised the Zambian government and opposition political parties to put the interest of Zambians first before their agenda.
In an exclusive interview with MUVI TV staffer Inutu Mwanza, Sir Mancham observed that it was important to respect divergent views of Zambian people. He also advised Zambia’s opposition political party leaders and government not to rush in seeking audience with the international community regarding Zambia’s internal problems.
Sir Mancham also urged both parties to consider getting advice from people who have played a significant role in the country like Zambia’s first republican president Dr. Kenneth Kaunda.
He also praised President Michael Sata for recognizing the efforts of Dr. Kaunda.
