Family Members Arrested for Selling Relatives to Suspected “Satanists”

Many would have thought that the issue of suspected Satanism is eminent in movies and books, but the reality on the ground is that even some communities in Zambia are falling prey to this practice.
In Mabinga village of Central Province, three members of the same family have been arrested for selling four members of their family to suspected Satanists.
Noston Chiinga, Nickson Chinga and Jones Chinga are alleged to have attempted to sell john Chinga aged twenty one at seventy million Kwacha,Yvonne Chinga aged three at sixty million Kwacha,while the other two were negotiated at one hundred and seventy million kwacha.
Central Province Police Commissioner Solomon Jere told MUVI TV news that the family had information that a named Pentecostal church in Kabwe was buying children at a good price.
Dr. Jere also disclosed that police have charged the culprits with conspiracy to murder and will appear in court soon.
