People with disabilities centre opened in Lusaka

Lusaka has recently seen an increase in the number of disabled people begging on the streets.

It is for this reason that the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities- ZAPID- has opened up a transit center at its Mimosa farm in Lusaka South.

The centre has so far admitted five visually impaired families who will be trained in various skills.
