several houses are earmarked for demolition in Lusaka’s Mtendere compound to pave way for the construction of a bridge. One of the residents Rodrick Mweengwe whose house is earmarked for demolition has confirmed the development.

Last week Local government Minister Nkandu Luo confirmed that the bridge in question is in deplorable state and is earmarked for upgrade.
