The United Party for National Development -UPND- and the Patriotic Front-PF- in Livingstone are still engulfed in the maize distribution saga just few hours before the by-elections.

And the UPND cadres have continued to besiege southern province permanent secretary’s residence who is accused of housing the maize suspected to be destined for distribution to voters. And at a press briefing in Livingstone PF Livingstone By-Election Campaign Manager Given Lubinda maintained that the party has nothing to do with the maize.

Mr. Lubinda has revealed that there was an error of judgment for the UPND to insinuate that the maize was meant for distribution to voters.
