The Lusaka City Council has described as embarrassing Sunday’s incident in which some members of two churches in Lusaka’s Bauleni compound exchanged blows over a piece of land.
Lusaka City Council Public Relations Officer, Henry Kapata, says the land in question is the property of the local authority earmarked for a road reserve.
Mr. Kapata categorically stated that no construction will be allowed on the particular land.
On Sunday Pentecostal church members and the Seventh Day Adventist-SDA- exchanged punches over allegations of corruption in the acquisition of the land in question.
