Vendors, Police Show Down Looming

Some vendors on the streets of Lusaka have dared government vowing not to leave their trading posts citing lack of adequate trading space.

The visibly annoyed traders told Muvi TV news that government’s ultimatum for them to vacate the streets is ill-timed.

They further bemoan that the government they helped put into office is the one creating unemployment.

Government recently issued a seven-day ultimatum in which all street vendors must leave undesignated trading places or face the wrath of the law.
