Two years after being freed from life imprisonment on a Presidential decree, 1997 coup plot mastermind Captain Steven Lungu’s health is failing.

Captain Lungu is ailing with swollen legs and is confined in his mother in law’s house in Lusaka’s Garden house motel area. He is appealing to President Michael Sata to assist him get his payment for illegal detention and torture to enable him access treatment.
