Zambia/Zimbabwe Ready for UNWTO Assembly

Zimbabwean Tourism and Hospitality Minister Walter Mzembi says United Nations World Tourism Organization-UNWTO- officials have certified Zambia and Zimbabwe ready to co-host the UNWTO general assembly next year.

Meanwhile Mr. Mzembi says the general assembly is expected to gobble about 6 million US dollars. The tourism minister said all is in place and the coordination between the two co-host countries is working well in achieving this historic event.

Mr. Mzembi said this during a press briefing at state house.

The UNWTO general assembly will be held from August 24 to 29 next year in Victoria Falls and Livingstone towns’ respectively.
