An inferno has swept through over twenty makeshift stalls at Lusaka’s Chilenje market.

The stalls were gutted around 02 hrs Tuesday morning.

Some marketers spoken to claim they have lost goods worth millions of kwacha in the inferno.

The cause of the fire has not yet been established as the marketers claim the guard who was on duty gave three different statements on the matter.
