ZAPD Appeals to the Disabled to Apply for Project Certificates

The Zambia Agency for persons with Disabilities –ZAPD has appealed to disabled persons to apply for the newly introduced project certificates.

This will allow them access funds from government and other financial institutions.

ZAPD Director General Felix Silwimba has also advised disabled persons to register their businesses with the agency for easy coordination between the two parties.

Dr. Silwimba has noted with sadness that disabled persons have continued to live in poverty when they can do something to better their lives.

Dr Silwimba said this in an interview with MUVI TV NEWS in Lusaka.
