Smuggling Must be Reduced-Kaingu

Southern province deputy permanent Secretary Alfred Chingi has admitted that smuggling is a crime which is difficult to stop.
He has however disclosed that government is determined to reduce the vice as the move deprives government to collect revenue.
Mr. Chingi has stated that government will put up measures to ensure that
smuggling is reduced.
And Zambia Revenue Authority-ZRA- Assistant commissioner Moses Mfune has disclosed that government has been losing billions of kwacha annually due to increased smuggling activities in Kazungula, Southern Province.
The duo was speaking in Kazungula during the launch of a newly acquired
speed boat meant to help ZRA intensify its patrols to curb smuggling.
