Lusaka Lawyer in Court for Allegedly Stealing over K1bn from Shoprite

Lusaka lawyer Lewis Chisanga Mosho has appeared in court for allegedly stealing over one billion kwacha from Shoprite.
Mosho who is a resident director and transfer agent for Shoprite allegedly stole one point two billion Kwacha.
He appeared before Lusaka resident magistrate Prince Boniface Mwinga and pleaded not guilty to twelve counts of theft by agent and money laundering.
Mosho who was in custody has since been released on a fifty million kwacha cash bail following an application by his lawyer Kelvin Bwalya.
And Mosho’s relatives harassed journalists who were taking pictures as he walked to his holding cell.
