Former Community Development Minister Michael Kaingu has called on government to consider compensating the traders of the banned strong alcoholic beverages packed in sachets known as Tujilijili.
Mr. Kaingu says the manufacturing and selling of the banned beer was legal and done under the law.
Last month Local Government and Housing Minister Professor Nkandu Luo announced the ban manufacture and sale of the beer sachets raising outcry among the traders.
