Justice for Widows and orphans project is saddened with the increasing number of abused children in the country.
Organisation Project Manager Felix Kunda says communities will be sensitized on the negative impacts of abusing children.
According to a report from Habitat for Humanity Zambia, children in Zambia are one of the groups at greatest risk to contract HIV.
Their vulnerability as children puts them at a greater risk of abuse, especially sexual abuse.
Statistics show that more than 1 in every 7 adults is living with HIV, which has resulted in about 600,000 children being orphaned due to AIDS.

I wrote to mr felix kunda concerning the problems i was going thru and he acknowledged having received the mail, but up to now no action has been done and as the result the house has been sold by the administrator and my step mother and they have shared the money. This happened in february this year.I have phoned mr kunda to make a follow up because according to the court verdict, the presiding judge was against the ideal of selling the house. The case was between christopher bwalya mulenga and patricia mwale in local court room one at the boma in kitwe on 12th august 2011.
