The Zambia Union of Financial Institutions and Allied Workers (ZUFUIAW)has urged the donor community to state their position on the constitutional making process in the country.
ZUFIAW President, Cephas Mukuka says there is need for the cooperating partners to give their position on the controversial clauses passed at the national constitutional conference (NCC).
He says as the country’s major financiers the donor community must state their position as constitutionalism is part and parcel of good governance.
Mr. Mukuka says this will not amount to interfering in internal affairs as the donor community has consistently been preaching about good governance.
He says this will also help reduce the impasse that has followed the constitution making process for some time now.
