Zambia’s ZANACO Football Club Coach, Wedson Nyirenda has regretted losing two key players, Patrick Kabamba and Jack Chileshe from the squad.
Speaking to Muvi TV Sport in an interview, Nyirenda says the club will definitely miss the two players who are now playing their club football in Angola.
Nyirenda however says he has suitable replacements for the missing players adding that five more players have joined the team.
Nyirenda who guided ZANACO to the first league title last season for the first time since 2006 says his target is to win the CAF Champions League this year.
ZANACO takes on Uganda Revenue Authority this weekend in the preliminaries of the CAF Champions League and the team leaves tomorrow for Kampala.
And Club Chairman, David Kaunda says the team has been adequately prepared to take on Ugandan champions, Uganda Revenue Authority.
Kaunda also says the issue of players’ allowances has also been sorted out.
Kaunda is Confident that the Young ZANACO Team will play well in the CAF Champions League campaign.
ZANACO has never qualified to the group stage of the CAF Champions league in its football history.
