UNIP Hopeful of Scooping Milanzi Parliamentary Seat

Zambia’s Former Ruling Party UNIP Has expressed hope that it will scoop the Milanzi parliamentary seat which fell vacant after the death of Reuben Chisanga Banda.
UNIP Secretary General Jamema Banda tells Muvi TV News that the former ruling party has already started preparations for Milanzi by elections.
Mrs. Banda adds that a lot of people have shown interest in contesting for the seat on UNIP ticket.
She notes that UNIP is still a force to reckon with in Eastern province.
Meanwhile Mrs. Banda has revealed that UNIP has tremendous progress in organizing for the party’s national convention.
Mrs. Banda says her party is almost finalizing provincial congresses which will culminate into the national congress.
