RB Meets Czech Delegation |

 A 15 man delegation from the Czech Republic led by the deputy prime minister Jan kohout has arrived in the country for a 3-day visit.Mr. Kohout who is also Czech Republic minister of foreign affairs is accompanied by businessmen seeking investment opportunities in Zambia. He is in country in reciprocated visit following Zambian foreign affairs minister Kabinga Pande’s visit to that country last year. And speaking when he met president Rupiah Banda at state house this afternoon, Mr. Kohout said Zambia is a good investment destination and further commended the country for its role in enhancing peace in the southern African region. And president Banda called on the Czech delegation to market Zambia to the European community as Zambia will do the same about Czech in the region. The Czech delegation will tomorrow hold talks with Zambian business personnel as organized by the Zambia chamber of commerce and industry. The delegation leaves the country on Friday. |
