The value of Muvi TV for Zambians
Muvi TV offers a full program, which consists of information, education, culture and entertainment. Muvi TV informs you about things happening in the world, but at the same time, we never neglect events taking place around us. Indeed, our local news is becoming a reference point in life of our viewers. We try our best to maintain that standard . Furthermore, we can proudly and gratefully announce, that our local production makes up as much as 65 % of the programming. This striking proportion is unique, even at international standard. “Zambians making TV program for Zambians“, that fact is true at Muvi TV.
Muvi TV as a broadcaster of the people
As a media house, we are supposed to be the fourth estate of our young democracy. But being a private company, we have to manage our business without any public financial assistance. Nevertheless, we deliver service to the public. We contribute to the entertainment of the public and at the same time, fulfil our duties of informing the public, of educating our children and of being responsible for developmental issues of the nation. In doing so, Muvi TV, although a private company, is a broadcaster of the people.
In every program we are working for the people
The special status and our responsibility make us no longer just another business unit. We inform policies of the government. At the same time, we provide the people with information about the context of such policies and therefore, help the society in the process of political formulation. That means again, we help Zambians keeping the governing bodies accountable. Working with us, doing business with us, you help facilitate Muvi TV in its operation and in doing so, you are working with us for the people.
