About Banja
"Mudzi wa amfumu chidano" as the theme suggest, is the story where hatred grows amongst villagers because of the struggle to the throne. Confusion starts even before the demise of the Chicano with Kambwili serious, the younger brother to the same chief yearning for the throne. Contrary to the traditional rules, where he (serious Kambwili) is not eligible to be chief, he finds means and ways to suppress his two nephews, who are the rightful heirs, not do ascend to the throne. He takes advantage of Bechane's non interest of becoming chief, by enticing his fellow ndunas to support him at all cost. But his biggest opposition seems to be Limbikani who has total support from his unknown biological father, mangiza. Hopes for Limbikani to become chief are deemed when the majority of the nduna's choose serious, to be the stand in chief as they await for the rightful heir. With other activities happening in the village, it has still been left in suspense, not knowing whether Bechane, the eldest of the two will at one time change his mind and come back from Tawani for the position he well deserved? Will his younger brother Limbikani make wonders and become one of the youngest greatest chiefs? Or rather, will it be Kambwili ruling for ever as a stand in chief? Well, if he continues being the chief, then he must be one of the luckiest not to pay for the fouls he has so far committed during his stay at the palace.
