By Editor - Fri Nov 16, 6:07 am

Cadres from the ruling Patriotic Front-PF- and Opposition United Party for National Development-UPND have clashed at parliament building.

The incident happened when suspected PF carders allegedly stoned UPND members who went to parliament to present a petition aimed at stopping the allocation of 1.4 billion kwacha towards the fifth President’s retirement home.

The UPND are of the view that the allocation as proposed in the 2013 budget is unconstitutional and should not be tabled for consideration in the house.

And UPND Secretary General, Winston Chibwe, told MUVI TV News that the behavior by suspected PF carders forced the Police to fire a gunshot that hit the tyre of the bus.
