Police Officers Storm Muvi Television Studios Arresting Gay Right Activist

Police officers have stormed MUVI television studios following a live programme broadcast featuring a human rights activist, Paul Kasonkomona calling for the recognition of gay rights.
The plain clothed officers from Lusaka’s Woodlands Police Station say their action follows a directive from the top command.
Mr. Kasonkomona has called on respective government wings to harmonise their obligations in dealing with gay rights.
He contends that gay rights are like any other form of human rights, which should be respected at all cost.
The engender Zambia project national coordinator, was speaking when he featured on the assignment programme.
