The Timber Producers Association of Zambia has called on government to waive the 40 percent duty being charged on every container of Timber.
Association President Charles Masange says the amount of money being charged on the export of Timber is disadvantaging the traders as they are not benefiting much.
Mr Masange says as a result, competition on the international market has been affected as the traders are also made to reduce the price of Timber during negotiations.
