Govt Admits Failure To Motivate Chipolopolo Boys

Sports Minister Moses Mawere has admitted that government has not motivated the Zambia national soccer team despite them providing a service to the nation.

Mawere says government has owed the Chipolopolo Boys sums of money months after they have played the matches.

He has since revealed government’s latest clearance of debt for the Kenya match that was owed to the players.

Mawere was speaking after visiting the Chipolopolo’s training camp ahead of the 2018 World Cup qualifier match against Nigeria.

Meanwhile, Nigeria has arrived in the country ahead of Sunday’s match which kicks off at 14:30hours.

The Gernot Roh coached Super Eagles arrived at Simon Kapwepwe International Airport shortly after lunchtime.
