Wrangles in the opposition FDD has depend with a team led by Lusaka Province Chairperson James Musemuna opposing the suspension of party Vice President Chifumu Banda.Speaking to MUVI TV NEWS, Mr Musemuna says the meeting held to suspend Mr Banda was illegal.
Mr. Musemuna has, however, challenged National Policy Chairperson Potiphar Mumba to provide the register of the people who attended the meeting.And District Secretary Teddy Lyowa says the Provincial leadership will not allow FDD President Edith Nawakwi to go for a third term as her time is over.
However, party spokesperson Antono Mwanza says Mr Banda remains suspended as his case was thoroughly dealt with.Mr Mwanza has since disclosed that the FDD will go to the convention scheduled for February 24 to February 26 in Kabwe.
