The Civil Servants and Allied Workers Union on the Copperbelt says workers will not accept the zero percent salary increment after the expiry of the collective agreement in January 2017.Provincial chairperson Terry Muyenga warns government of serious consequences if workers’ salaries will not be increased.Mr. Muyenga says the cost of living is unbearable and government should not play the no increment song on financially strained workers.Meanwhile, Mr. Muyenga has taken a swipe at some splinter unions masquerading as mouthpieces for civil servants.
