Police have warned Zambia Direct Democracy Movement – ZDDM president Edwin Sakala for uttering careless remarks.
Police spokesperson Esther Katongo says Sakala was summoned by police in connection with a document attributed to him entitled “Kumawa Chiefs Must Ban Upnd”.
According to an alleged letter to the chiefs in eastern province, Mr. Sakala wants each tribe take full responsibility of their own land and development.
Ms. Katongo says upon availing himself, Mr. Sakala was warned to desist from making reckless statements.
