The mass distribution of Insecticide Treated Mosquito Nets in Luapula province has started.
The exercise is part of the ministry of health program to reduce the malaria prevalence which stands the highest in the province.
And Luapula Province Permanent Secretary Dr. Buleti Nsemukila who was represented by assistance secretary PAUL MULOLA said that the fact that malaria cases in the province are all year around is worrisome.
And Luapula Province Health Director Dr. Peter Bwalya encouraged households to register and get the nets.
Over nine hundred thousand treated mosquito nets are to be distributed.
