RTSA Notes Road Sector Ills.

Road Transport and Safety Agency- RTSA-says misalignment of roles and responsibilities are negatively affecting the transport sector in the country.
RTSA Chief Executive Officer Zindaba Soko says even though Zambia has gone through major transformation in respect of Transport, there has been a lot of ignorance and lack of professionalism within the sector.
Mr. Soko says with recent enactment of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Act, the sector is expected to improve.
Meanwhile, Ministry of Transport and Communication Permanent Secretary, Misheck Lungu has challenged the new executive of the Zambia Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport to ensure that all Transport Operators affiliate to the institute to promote sanity.
He was speaking when he officiated at the first Annual General Meeting of the Institute in Lusaka where Zindaba Soko has been elected President of the Institute.
