Football Association of Zambia President, Andrew Kamanga has described Chipolopolo’s second leg loss to the Zebras of Botswana on Monday 16th November, 2020 as disappointing.
Kamanga says the result was unexpected as his administration had made sure that both the technical bench and players were given everything needed to prepare adequately.
Team Coach, Milutin Sredojevic, says his team has been taught a lesson.
The loss has taken Zambia back to the bottom of Group H with 3 points in the 2022 AFCON qualifiers.
Sometimes it’s important to admit that thing are not moving your way and allow others to administer then later you can bounce back, Kamanga A has failed completely ever since he became faz president I don’t remember how many time Zambia has failed to go for afcon. I don’t blame AK but the villagers in rural areas and this small clubs in copperbelt and Lusaka who puts you in office how I wish the all nation was involved in selecting Faz President. If Zambia won Africa cup during the time ZCCM wasn’t there then it will be illogical for some one to blame Privatisation may the soul of JTFC rest in peace. Abenangumbo has spoken
Kindly note that the experienced players are needed in that team combined with new talent or experiments. Your team lacks the needed grip in manning the defence especially your number two. Call experienced players such as: Rainford Kalaba to play 11, Nathan Sinkala 6, Cletus Chama 10, Brian Mwila 9, Partson Daka 9, Stophila Sunzu 5, Kabaso Choongo 4
It is not good to always think that we are building a team at the expense of leaving desirable players that can make the country move forward. It is embarrassing and disturbing to be humiliated by simple Botswana from which we could have collected maximum three points if experienced players were probably called and well positioned in the team. Not too long ago, Zambia beat Algeria in both home and away legs, where is the team that beat Algeria? Learn to maintain teams just like Algeria has done it and the team Algeria plays good football with improved and quality results.
Simple lineup for you Micho that could have been of help;
1. Kennedy Mweene
2. Simon Silwimba
3. Lawrence Chungu
4. Kabaso Choongo
5. Stophila Sunzu
6. Nathan Sinkala
7. Lubambo Musonda
8. Enock Mwepu
9. Patson Daka or Brian Mwila
10. Cletus Chama
11. Rainford Kalaba
Kindly note that the players above, three quarters of them are ones that humiliated Algeria both home and away. FAZ guide the new coach please.
Bola is win and lose. Let’s just focus on how we will win to Zimbabwe as our last priority. I could ask micho to work on strikers and defenders and goalkeeper.
