Police Brutality On Upnd Supporters Has Dented Zambia’s

Transparent International Zambia-TIZ President Lee Habasonda says police brutality on UPND supporters last Thursday has dented the country’s international image.
Mr Habasonda has since advised the Ministry of Home Affairs to tame police officers handling political issues.
Mr Habasonda has challenged government to be civil in the way government reacts to political situations in the country.
And UPND lawmaker Douglas Siakalima says maneuvers to have the UPND deregistered will not work.
He was responding to Governance activist Chilufya Tayali’s insinuations the UPND should be deregistered.
