Over 70,000 Kwacha Diverted To Rehabilitate Minister’s House Ag Report Reveals

According to the 2015 auditor general’s report over 70 000 kwacha meant for office administration in the ministry of Home Affairs was diverted to rehabilitate minister’s house.
The diversion of the resources was without evidence of treasury authority.
And in the ministry of foreign affairs over payment of allowances and rentals for officers in the foreign mission has been cited.
Monies amounting to over 500,000 kwacha was over paid as allowances in 2014, while over 3,000 kwacha was over paid for rented accommodation above the officers ‘entitlements.
