Date Set for Mention in Jacqueline’s Alleged Murder Case

The Lusaka Magistrate Court has set January 10, 2017 as the date for mention and possible committal to the High Court the matter in which a health care administrator Jacqueline Mwiindwa is accused of murdering her husband.
This is due to the certificate of committal from the Director of Public Prosecutions not being ready.
It is alleged that Mwiindwa on October 28, 2016 murdered Kofi Milumbe by running over him with a motor vehicle.
Meanwhile two women accused of beating their daughter to death could not have their charge of murder explained to them due to the absence of the trial Court Chief Resident Magistrate Kenneth Mulife.
Mufunase and Chalwe Banda of Ng’ombe Compound are on December 2, 2016 alleged to have murdered an 18-year old girl.
The matter comes up on December 29, 2016.
