Zambia’s Deputy Police IG Eugen Sibote Drags Some Villagers to Court

Deputy Inspector General of Police Eugen Sibote has dragged villagers from Kafue farms to court for alleged stock theft.
However, the case has been characterized by apprehension as several villagers who flocked to the Court complained bitterly about their cattle which has allegedly been grabbed from them at the time the deputy IG was recovering his stolen cattle.
Some villagers who seemingly looked intimidated over the State’s influence were threatened to be picked up by police officers who were at the Court should they utter any word.
Trial has since commenced with Mr Sibote testifying how hos 10 herds of cattle were allegedly stolen from his farm
