Projects Abandoned In Sioma

Several contractors who were contracted to work on various infrastructures in Sioma Districts have abandoned the works.
Most of the works were abandoned after payments were made.
But Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu says all contractors who have abandoned their sites will be pursued by law enforcement agencies.

  1. It is like they have some protection. It has become a trend of ‘eating’ government money and becoming rich. Contracts are given on ubukaya and they share the spoils with people in authority.

  2. These contractors must have support in the government. There is no way the entire government system can turn a blind eye to such big scandals. They share the spoils (government money) with big fish in government.
