Teachers Challenged To Uphold Ethical Conduct

Government has challenged teachers to uphold ethical conduct in a bid to reduce the number of bad eggs that tarnish the education sector.
Minister of General Education Dr. Dennis Wanchinga has told delegates at a teacher’s annual general conference in Livingstone that prevalent examination malpractices and sexual abuse of girls are worrying and it is incumbent that the teaching fraternity curbs the vice.
Dr. Wanchinga says teachers are the largest workforce that shapes Zambia’s future hence if misconduct thrives goals to attain better standards would be lost.
