Two Police Officers Injured In Road Mishap

Two police officers have been injured when a Kitwe traffic police escort vehicle they were in careered off the road and overturned.
Copperbelt province police commissioner Charity Katanga has told Muvi TV in a telephone interview that the vehicle overturned near Chichele plantation along the Kitwe-Ndola road.
Ms. Katanga says the vehicle was part of the escort team for the South African national soccer team who are in the country for the Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
She has described the condition of the two police officers as out of danger while the vehicle was extensively damaged.
In a related development, an employee of Reekays has died after a grill door hit him while security guards were closing the gate.
Ms. Katanga has named the deceased as 35 year old Moses Magaba of Chifubu Township in Ndola.
